I don't usually leave reviews, but when I have an an amazing experience, I want everyone to know! Year before last, our dentist suggested my teenage daughter get braces to resolve a few issues. I didn't understand why because her teeth looked great to me. But I know I don't appreciate when others act like they know my my job better than myself, so we made appointments with several Orthodontists to get a quote and see what was in store for my daughter. The first three places we visited gave us extremely high quotes and were unsure of the time frame, and they barely took the time to explain the process and how things would work out. The employees were barely helpful and barely approachable. And don't even get me started on the expense! I pass the Braces Place on my way to work every day, so I called and scheduled an appointment for a "free quote". I was immediately impressed with the upbeat attitudes and "happiness" that was evident in this office. I love giving business to places where the employees are happy! They never wasted a single second of my time. EVERY single employee was very knowledgeable, helpful, and more than happy to assist. They did a few scans and put together a very detailed plan with several options for how to proceed with my daughters care. They even explained every step of every option in a way we could understand! AND THEN CAME THE BEST PART: The payment plan! Why yes, I actually CAN afford the down payment and the monthly payment and don't have to take out a loan to help my daughter! That was almost two years ago and my daughter will be having her braces removed soon. TWO whole years of going to this office every 5-6 weeks, and the employees are ALWAYS happy and helpful and just a joy to be around, not just on the first visit to make a good impression. My daughter now has all her dental issues corrected, her bite is perfect, and her self esteem has been restored with the most beautiful smile I've ever seen! I have enjoyed the experience so much that I have decided to seek treatment from the Braces Place for myself and issues I've always put aside in favor of treatment for my children. Even though it's extensive care, it's still very affordable! Thank you to the Braces Place Staff and Dr. P for showing Lexington and other Orthodontists that you can absolutely run a well organized business and have happy employees as well as happy patients! You guys are awesome!

The staff here has been absolutely amazing here and extremely supportive. Michelle was very helpful in preparing us for our first experience with braces, and was there for each step of process! Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to get their family started with braces!

I love this place! The staff here are awesome and always inviting. My appointments were always prompt. The wait was never long. On top of that, I came out with a beautiful smile! I recommend them 💯 %, 10/10!

Braces Place is an absolute joy and they aim for perfection! Their entire staff is so friendly that I actually enjoyed taking my 3 kids there! Dr. Pennella is very knowledgeable and particular about making sure everything is done right. Absolutely love everyone there and will miss seeing them every month. Thanks so much for giving my kids the most beautiful smiles!

*UPDATE*4/29/2026 It has been 8 years since my braces were removed. I haven't been wearing my retainers as often as I should and I had some slight shifting. I made an appointment with The Braces Place and they got me back on track 😁. The entire staff is still awesome! I saw a lot of new faces mixed in with the older, but their level of service and friendliness is still top notch! I would definitely still recommend this office after all these years. Keep up the good work!!! I absolutely love The Braces Place!!!! The staff is so awesome!!! My braces were removed today and I am so happy with the results. THANK YOU ALL!!!
